This tool is Set for a high production automatic molding machine, tooling material is Ren 5179 “Red Plank” in a Match plate configuration about 1″ thick. In this configuration this tooling should last for many thousand pulls before is starts to show wear. The material was chosen for its durability and abrasion Resistance.
A production tool for a nonferrous foundry made from Ren 5460, a 40lbs tooling board. The tool is set for airset tooling, and left our shop with the rigging attached as per the foundries instructions.
